The1859 historic light house is still in operation at 215 Lighthouse Ave. at Cape May Point State Park. If you want a challenge, climb its 199 steps to be rewarded with stunning, one of a kind views, of the beaches, ocean and town. While you're there, walk the trails at Cape May Point State Park.
Lily Lake is a fresh water lake that, as legend tells us, pirates and sailors would come ashore and replenish their water supplies there. It's located in front of the Bird Observatory, and today hosts many bird and aquatic species.
Designed as the center of town with the streets radiating out like spokes on a wheel, the Pavilion Circle is a grassy park where people gather to play volleyball and children's games during the summer season.
Book a trip on one of the many sight seeing or fishing boats in the area.
Venture over to the City of Cape May and take a tour or shop or eat. But come back to The Point soon!
